The Tree Daddy was founded in Clearwater, Nebraska by owner and operator Aaron Thiessen. Today, the business is focused on serving Omaha and the surrounding metro while keeping the same hands-on approach Aaron built it around.
Aaron grew up on a Nebraska family farm, where working around plants, soil, weather, and changing growing conditions was part of everyday life. That practical connection to the land still influences the way he approaches tree, plant, and landscape care today.
Aaron looks beyond the most obvious symptom. Tree health can be influenced by roots, soil, drainage, planting depth, surrounding plants, and the conditions of the site. Understanding those pieces helps lead to better recommendations.
That approach carries through everything The Tree Daddy does, from tree and plant health evaluations to pruning, soil testing, landscape design, tree installation, and turf rejuvenation.

Aaron brings more than ten years of hands-on experience in tree care, landscape management and horticulture. His background also includes collaboration with state forestry services on educational workshops.
Aaron's credentials include Nebraska Certified Arborist and ISA Certified Arborist certifications, along with a Nebraska Pesticide Applicator license. That background supports a practical, diagnostic approach built around knowledgeable care and responsible recommendations.
